On the verge of launching a complete product redesign, Coinjar was looking to conduct user testing to help develop key features and learn more about their customers.
Being fairly new to this process they were wanting to conduct a rapid piece of research to see for themselves if it would add value to their product development processes.
I was responsible for the research, reporting and client engagement.
The following is a breakdown of our activities
This was a rapid research project, 3 weeks from initial engagement to delivering the report.
At the end of this project the client was given a series of recordings including customers commenting while interacting with the product. This proved to be a valuable resource for them, raising awareness of the user testing process and was accessible to Coinjar employees.
The client was provided with a comprehensive report, detailing insights on key features of their product and what that meant for them.
This was a great example of the value that can be provided from short, sharp pieces of user research. You can achieve a lot with limited resources and budget.
